DIRECTIVE 076 / CONTROL

ROTATE THE SHIFT

Evidence

A 2026 systematic review and meta-analysis found shift work associated with higher odds of sleep disturbances, including for rotating shifts. A 2024 review of new shift workers found sleep and mental-health outcomes worsened after transition to shift work.
